Admission Process
- MP M.Tech Admission – Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh will offer MP M.Tech admission to both GATE and Non-GATE qualified candidates.
- Candidates seeking admission will have to get themselves registered for MP M.Tech admission in online mode before the last date.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
- GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technologies.
- GATE exam is conducted once in a year. The GATE score is valid for 3 years and a candidate can appear for exam any number of times. There is no age limit for GATE.
- In 2022, GATE conducted in February month.
Eligibility criteria for MP M.Tech Admission
- Candidates must have Indian nationality.
- Candidates must have completed his/her graduation in Engineering/Technology with minimum 50% marks.
- In case of SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh, the minimum qualifying marks required is 45% in graduation.
- The bachelor’s degree as completed by candidates must be of minimum 4 years duration.
- Candidates must have obtained the required GATE score (if applying through GATE)
- Candidates in the final year of the examinations can also apply on a provisional basis. However, such candidates will have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the degree program at the time of counseling.
